Vision: It is the vision of the Norton City School District to continue to implement and upgrade a curriculum based technology plan, which will reflect a district commitment to accomplish the following:
1. Increase achievement through the development of student skills in research, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication.
2. Provide all students and staff with the tools, knowledge, and training required for them to access, explore, and create information resources.
3. Support curriculum development to meet state-mandated academic content and technology standards.
4. Support and improve communication by maintaining and enhancing connectivity between classrooms, buildings, and the community.
5. Provide continuous staff development opportunities.
6. Provide the community with the opportunities for technology awareness, training, and involvement.
7. Continually evaluate and revise the curriculum-based technology plan to ensure that the necessary materials will be provided, maintained, and upgraded.
 
Mission: The Norton City Schools will continue to provide resources, training, materials, and support necessary to maximize each student's technological ability through the educational experience. The District will also continue to work with students, staff, and the community to effectively incorporate technology into the educational process to meet the ever-changing needs of our local community as well as the global and multi-cultural society to foster lifelong learning.
